What Happens After Design Discovery
Once your questionnaire is submitted, I’ll review your responses as part of the project’s design foundation and use them to identify priorities, relationships between spaces, planning opportunities, potential conflicts, and items that may need early clarification.
Your responses may help inform:
- project goals and priorities
- space planning and room relationships
- site, orientation, access, and property considerations
- architectural character and design preferences
- budget priorities and areas where guidance may be helpful
- future needs, flexibility, and long-term planning
- questions or decisions that should be addressed before design moves forward
You do not need to treat every response as a final decision. Design Discovery is intended to establish direction, uncover priorities, and give me a clearer understanding of how you want the project to function and feel.
As the design develops, some ideas may be refined, combined, reconsidered, or adjusted based on the site, budget, structure, building science, code requirements, and the overall design.
If I need clarification on anything you submitted, I’ll follow up directly. Otherwise, your questionnaire becomes part of the information I use to guide the next stage of the project.
