Designed for a homeowner in Richmond, Virginia, The Fauquier Addition & Renovation reimagined an existing Colonial Revival Cottage with a modest rear addition and improved interior layout. The concept focused on maintaining the home’s familiar charm while enhancing daily function and curb appeal.
Though the design was ultimately not built due to budget limitations, it remains a study in how proportion, restraint, and careful detailing can bring new life to a traditional home without losing its character.
