Designed as a private creative retreat for a homeowner and his band, this detached recreation and music studio provides the perfect balance between performance and relaxation. Positioned beside the main residence, the structure was designed to blend seamlessly with the home, matching its architectural style, colors, and detailing so it feels like an intentional extension of the property.

Inside, the project features a professionally engineered recording environment developed in collaboration with Haverstick Designs, the project’s acoustic consultant. Every element — from layout and wall construction to the integration of specialized acoustic treatments — was carefully planned to achieve exceptional sound isolation and clarity while maintaining a warm, comfortable atmosphere.

Structural coordination was completed with a licensed consulting engineer to ensure the framing and foundation design support the studio’s acoustic performance and long-term durability.

The project balances technical precision with simple residential charm. From the exterior, it reads as a familiar neighborhood outbuilding; inside, it transforms into a sophisticated performance and recording space ready to inspire creativity.
